The main transport interchange hub of Siversky urban settlement is Vokzalnaya Square — the space where passengers arriving at the Siverskaya railway station emerge into the town. From here, visitors can either set out to explore the surrounding natural landscape or continue their journey by transferring to local and intercity buses, as well as taxis.
The project proposes a clear organization of transport circulation, with clearly defined zones for passenger drop-off and pick-up, alongside a prioritized pedestrian route. To create a coherent spatial structure, a pavilion is introduced to connect the volumes of existing buildings with the railway platform exit, providing a comfortable waiting and transfer space within a light-filled environment protected from rain.
To avoid visual overload while shielding the square from the surrounding heterogeneous development, frosted monolithic polycarbonate is proposed as the primary material, ensuring both lightness and visual unity.
